Cake Smash Photography

I knew when my son turned one that I wanted to do a photoshoot to capture him at this precious stage. I decided to have a go at doing my own shoot at home. After a bit of research and looking online for the perfect props, I decided on a theme and set to work.

By ensuring I photographed him using natural daylight, I managed to get that soft feel to the pictures that I was hoping for.

I absolutely love how these pictures came out, and doing it at home really helped take off the pressure of doing it within a time slot, as well as making sure that my son felt at home and relaxed.

After the great success of my first photoshoot, my brother and sister in law asked me to do one for their first wedding anniversary. It was much easier working with adults than it was with a one year old, and we had a lot of fun!
